   Peggy Hinaekian
The artist Peggy Hinaekian, a dynamic, enterprising, and a great traveller, is divided between Florida and Geneva. She is a hard worker, full of a communicative energy. Her oil and acrylic paintings are present in many public and private collections, namely in financial institutions, and by tens. This means that her works are very successful. It is not a surprise, since her canvases are exhibited all over the world in a sustaining rhythm : in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Great Britain, Norway, United States, Canada, Koweit.

What is the secret of her success ? Besides her passion of painting, her talents of colourist are no doubt part of the answer, in this despite or for the reason why her palette is consisting only of two main colours : the blue and the orange.

The orange tinted works appear like large fields burned by the sun. The large areas, close to monochromy are however very much alive, composed by a rich and irregular texture, sprinkled with small grains of sand thrown into relief, like blown by the wind of the desert. It is the space, the infinite, the silence inhabited, that predominate these works, then the discovery, in the heart or in an angle, of small zones enriched by signs written in the fresh material : the presence of a square of a definitely different colour, or a mark inscribed, like a sort of a sign direction. All these elements invite the eye to decipher and discover the way to penetrate into the heart of the work in order to try to catch the essential. Elsewhere, certain tracings turn into a light, incisive and mysterious writing, but the artist remains the only one to know the very meaning of it.

The blue paintings, executed in a similar technique, show geometric forms, in full or empty, squares of colour inscribed or overlapping rectangles or other squares, in the centre or in the border of the canvas, audaciously and in total liberty, in echo to the artist who loves to communicate her passion of colour and material. The surface of the paintings is dense, structured, carefully worked, richly shaded, luminous. The blue fields, evoking the sea borders where water and sky blend and unite, ally the aquatic and the spiritual. To the contrary, orange tinted canvases are inflamed with life, fire and light. The work of Peggy Hinaekian is a source of life and creation, generous and enriching to discover.
